Same As It Never Was

London hip-hop/jazz/electronic outfit The Herbaliser released their new record Same as it never was last week. The aptly titled album sees the group going in a new direction. Originally a duo (Ollie Teeba and Jake Wherry) that brought in a large number of guests for their records, the group has expanded to a five members who are now employing more of a live sound. The result is a record that has more of a funk sound than previous efforts.
