Extra Beast

Andrew Bird's newest release Noble Beast which was released on January 20th also comes in a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition includes different artwork (pictured here) and a bonus CD of instrumental music called Useless Creatures. The bonus disc was recorded with Wilco's Glenn Kotche and Todd Sickafoose. Is it live or is it ...

My Morning Jacket recently put out a new live EP that is only available through iTunes. It is called iTunes Live from Las Vegas at the Palms and was actually recorded live in a studio. There are six songs, five of them are reworkings of older songs. And there is one new track called "Dear Wife". The full track listing is as follows;

Extra Sandbags

The new album Ready for the Flood from former Jayhawks cohorts Mark Olson & Gary Louris was finally released at the end of January here in the States (it was released in early December overseas). And following a recent trend, there is a 2LP version of the work that contains two bonus tracks that are not on the CD. Those tracks are; Precious Time, and Cotton Dress.

A Webcast of the upcoming Buzzcocks show this Wednesday, February 11th will be streamed at Fab Channel. The live show is part of their Another Bites tour and this show will be at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.
